at A.B.C. Basic Medical Training Center is to provide the highest quality
education in a secure, positive and professional environment, so we can better
serve the healthcare needs of our communities.
Certified Patient Care Technician (CPCT) is a multi-step certificate program.
We will be instructing our students in the basic care and needs of our
communities in our State Tested Nursing Assistant (STNA) program consisting of
75 hours. Then the students will move on to our NHA Certified Phlebotomy
program consisting of 80 hours. The
students will also cover the NHA Certified EKG class consisting of 30 hours.
The student will learn advanced patient care with the Medical Terminology class
and the Introduction to Patient Care and Assessments class consisting of 95
hours. The students will finish with 15 hours of review to include written
review and lab review to enhance their learning and test taking skills for the
National Health Association tests, to become a NHA Certified Patient Care
classroom and labs are to be completed at our facility, with clinicals to be
done at various medical facilities in the area.
